FAQs

  • What is the best court for a coastal location in Britain where wind, rain and the sea air prevail?

Padel Plus Jubo’s Infinity Court is the most robust court which is available in Max and Xtreme versions depending on the wind resistance you require. Our zinc primer and 9 stage painting process ensures all the steel components are as corrosion resistant as possible.

  • Does the Super Panoramic court have a matching singles version?

Yes, all Padel Plus Jubo court models (Vision, Super Panoramic and Infinity) are available as singles courts (20 x 6m). For indoor installations where there is often an awkward amount of leftover space, a singles court can be a great option and because they match the doubles courts in design, the courts all sit very comfortably alongside each other. The singles courts installed during 2025 are proving to be very popular in the UK.

  • How long can a pop-up court be used for?

Pop-up courts are temporary installations and are intended for short-term events or use where a site might be testing padel over a period of months before making a more permanent commitment to facilities. Planning regulations in the UK typically define a temporary facility as up to five years. Our product is certainly robust enough for this kind of timeframe but as with any installation exposure to the elements and other environmental factors must be assessed.

  • Can automated gates be fitted to the Vision court to control access?

Yes, all Padel Plus Jubo court models (Vision, Super Panoramic and Infinity) can be fitted with gates. There are two models: sliding and hinged, the hinged ones being suitable for automation with the leading court booking systems so court access can be controlled by mobile phone or key pad.

  • I have seen textile covered canopies failing in recent storms. Are your canopies designed to withstand hurricane conditions like traditional buildings?

It’s very difficult to compare our steel and polycarbonate structures with lower quality textile covered structures given their short life span and vulnerability to wind and the debris associated with storms. Padel Plus and our specialist partner Esguin engineer our structures to endure. They are warrantied for 25 years with a service life in excess of 40 years. They are designed for specific local wind and snow loads, and other environmental considerations. The higher capital cost is easily offset by the superior playing characteristics and length of service.

  • Can solar panels be added to your canopies?

Yes, and our team is experienced working with solar specialists on projects of all sizes. Where PV cells are required, we typically specify a sandwich panel roof which has the strength to support the cells, and then draw natural light into the structure via a strip of transparent material around the perimeter of the roof, and/or via the side elevations.
